I FEEL FIT, I FEEL HEALTHY

Het Voedingscentrum (the Dutch nutrition center) launched the new Schijf van 5: guidelines for a healthy and normal food lifestyle. I believe that if you follow these guidelines, no extreme diet to pursue a healthy lifestyle will be necessary. And to be honest: I'm getting quite annoyed by all those food bloggers who pretend that they know everything about healthy and clean eating. And that their method works best. Yes, I do believe that there's a grain of truth in every conviction (lets call it that for now). But I don't believe that it'll make you healthier if you exclude certain nutritions (that were considered as healthy and good before the food bloggers arose) from your eating pattern.
I think that for me it also has to do with authority. The nutrition centre is mostly financed by the government and they are well known for their scientifically proven and objective information. Those food bloggers don't really impress me: how do I know that what they say truly is healthy? No, I'll never dedicate my entire life to a certain diet, that might be proven, or not. I'm raised with the nutrition the nutrition centre approves and it feels good for me. I feel fit, I feel healthy. Without drinking clay, with eating whole grain bread.

I like my yoghurt and fruit in the morning, I like my sandwiches, I LOVE my pasta's and potatoes with vegetables and meat or fish (and my salads and my dairy and everything that I like). The point of all is: balance and vary. Carbs won't harm. Neither won't gluten, except when you are intolerant, of course.
The hype around the perfect healthy lifestyle can be a ravel of information. Eat whatever feels best, eat your fruits and vegetables, drink enough water and hold on to that what works for you. After all, all bodies are different.
