THE GYM NAMED 'WORK'

Exercise can cost a lot of time and for social welfare I am in favour of working out in ‘’the boss his time’’. And, it is also a benefit for your boss, because research shows that fit employees are less likely to call in sick (accept for the flu, that just happens every now and then like it happened to me last week, blegh).

But okay yes, SO as I just mentioned, I’m a stickler for being more physically active within your work environment. Especially for office jobs, where people are sitting from 9 to 5 and only get out of their chair to get another cup of boring coffee or tea. And I know, I’ve been there during some summer jobs and internships. I noticed that I lost my concentration of sitting still all daylong and that I yearned to get out for half an hour. I’m not saying people must assembly while running but I do say (I actually want to scream…) that in-office-working-people should move more. Because sitting down IS BAD! So all of you who are reading this because you are having a little break, stop reading (seriously, this blog post will end soon) and go and take a little walk outside, do some jumping-jacks or running in place and motivate your colleagues to join!
