Stop telling women to smile (STWTS) is a street art project by Tatyana Fazlalizadeh that is about gender-related harassment. Everywhere in various cities (started in Brooklyn) you will see drawn portraits of women, which have shared their story about their experience with harassment.
Why is it cool?
This street art project is cool because street harassment is a big issue that affects women all over the world. With this project women can say what is on their mind and the project gives women the courage to speak out loud about harassment.
Why has it future growth potential?
This Stop Telling Women To Smile street art has future growth potential because gender-related harassment happens all over the world. We live in a social world and society where women are equal to men. With this street art project all women over the world will soon give a voice to their thoughts about this issue by means of drawn portraits.

What is it?
Hybrid Skins is an exhibition in Enschede (Netherlands) where the progress of genetic engineering and nanotechnology is shown. At this exhibition artists and designers are showing their artistic vision of a future world with new ethical issues and opportunities related to the human body and the imitation of the human body.
Why is it cool?
New developments are always interesting. At this exhibition it is cool to see how people can imitate the human body. They can imitate the body so closely that it seems like the body is really alive. When you are visiting this exhibition the central question is: can we adapt nature to the rapid changes in fashion?
Why has it future growth potential?
Everything in this world will keep on developing, so the human body will keep developing as well. This hybrid skins combine fashion with nanotechnology and cloning. By these new techniques the human body and nature can me copied and personalized.
However, there is a moral question about this hybrid skins: are your body and your genes your own property that you just may copy? This is a moral question because everyone is unique, this can disappear with this new techniques.

Commuter Suit is a suit, which is developed for people who cycle to work. This suit is designed bij Parker Dusseau. The focus of this suit is movement. By means of special materials Dusseau designs clothes that is more comfortable than normal clothes you wear when you ride a bike. The suits that are produced are still limited editions.
Why is it cool?
This suits are cool because Dusseau has considerd how people transport themselves and which clothes make that more comfortable. The Commuter Suit is made of moisture friendly material with enough spandex that causes flexibility. Besides comfort Dusseau also has reckon with safety.
