coolhunting:
hunting for the cool things in life
The first method I learned at International Lifestyle Studies was coolhunting, developed by www.scienceofthetime.com. It’s all about curiosity and exploring: see, feel, taste, hear and smell everything that’s around you. Write about all the cool things that you’ve noticed during desk- and fieldresearch. Cool, in this context, is defined as attractive, inspiring and imbued with potential for the future. All these coolhunts that you write about are signals of movements in society and trends.
