WHY STUDENTS SHOULD BE TRAVELING ANY TIME THEY WANT

As a student myself I think this is a horrible idea. Having class at night influences a lot of factors in a negative sense and creates adversed effects on the Quality of Life of students. It'll particularly effect the Development and Activity, and the Material Wellbeing. If study schedules are going to change, that means that social activities like sports and get-togethers and jobs need to make place for study. During the negotiation I don't think the universities and the NS have considered that students having another life next to their studies. And however I agree that study comes first, the other activities students have do have a positive influence on the study results. If I speak for myself, my sports courses are at night: they make me feel energized and it improves my health. No need to go in-depth on this, I assume we all know the importance of sports, not only on our health but also on our study and work results. Mental health can be pursued to take good care of yourself and allow yourself to relax: I relax with friends, during dinner and a nice glass of wine. I don't think a glass of wine at 10 am is very appropriate. And last but certainly not least: we need to finance our studies. Since the new study loan system a lot of students need to take a side job to make sure they can realize their studies, sports and leisure activities.

I believe it's a bad decision to carry through these plans. Pushing students to overturn their schedules, habits can't have a positive effect on their wellbeing and results. And with the students being the future, I doubt this will cause less harm than overly crowded trains.
